Lovers are controlled by spirits and punctured with long needles during a vegan ceremony at the Sapam Shrine. Phuket’s yearly vegan celebration, otherwise called the Nine Emperor Gods celebration, started on 17 October and will run until 25 October. Known for its extraordinary showcases of formal mutilation by soul mediums known as mah melody, the celebration is gotten from Chinese Taoist convictions.
